Lead Civil Engineer

Don More is looking for a Lead Civil Engineer to lead our engineering group. Based in Saint John, the Engineer will work closely with clients, approval agencies and others on the design team to complete land development projects.

This is a senior level position. Individual should be a motivated self starter who can lead a design team and manage projects. Experience with land development projects is a requirement.

Tasks:

• Interact with clients

• Prepare quotes and proposals for projects

• Perform research and background investigations

• Perform and oversee the execution of design calculations

• Prepare cost estimates and construction schedules

• Prepare plans and design documents

• Confirm adherence to construction specifications and safety standards by monitoring project progress

• Inspecting construction sites and verifying calculations and placements

Prior design experience in site development is a requirement.

Proficiency with Civil3D and HydroCad would be an asset.
